It’s a new year and Partha Terra has plenty of exciting updates as we jump into 2023!
Our jet-setting founder, Tommy Rice, flew to New Zealand and visited Wētā Workshop: you might recognize Wētā’s award winning effects and props from Avatar the Way of Water, Black Panther 2, Thor: Love and Thunder… Oh, and those little known Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films as well! Tommy and Weta have a long history as friends and partners, but we’re even more excited about their future together – there are so many upcoming projects planned for 2023! After visiting Weta, Tommy took a quick jaunt over to New Zealand’s real-life Hobbiton to down a pint, indulge in second breakfast, and enjoy the rolling countryside.
Of course, Tommy couldn’t leave without visiting the headquarters of the legendary Gale Force 9 gaming company! He was lucky enough to get a personal tour of the facility and an exclusive look at some of their projects – it wasn’t all fun and games though (pardon the pun.) Tommy also helped with design on the new The Lok game. That’s right, it’s coming soon! There’s no other company quite like Gale Force 9: we at Partha Terra can’t wait for you to see the unbelievable experience they’re crafting. The Lok’s game is about to blow your mind! Finally, Tommy ended 2022 with a bang as a featured speaker at LA Comic Con: he gave an information packed seminar on defeating “writers block” to a packed house at the Los Angeles Convention Center!
Speaking of Conventions: Partha Terra already has an exciting line-up for 2023. This year, Tommy is set to attend Genghis Con from February 22nd – 24th, where he will be teaming up with Legendary Game and DND personalities, Luke Gygax and Alphinius GOO. This panel is not to be missed!!! Go to Genghis Con for more details.
Tommy will also return to Washington for the Meeker Street Nerd Party to close out the month of February, he will be signing books and talking about new projects. Then, in March, its off to Chicago for the Gaming Power Convention where Tommy will be showcasing his new games from the 22nd – 26th.
